DRAGON (DragonBoat Racing Association Group of Nevada) is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival on October 14-15, 2023 a two-day event. 

Sponsorship for the 5th Annual Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival offers a superb opportunity for corporate exposure within our community at a very reasonable cost. Across the nation, not only is Dragon Boat racing one of the fastest-growing sports in terms of both team participation and spectator involvement, but also the Festivals have enjoyed an unprecedented level of community exposure. Your sponsorship of the Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival will provide exposure to hundreds of anticipated paddlers/racers. We look forward to the expected thousands of spectators and participants in the community that will be participating in this festival through our efforts.  An example of what is brought to the community via tourism is if there are 25 people on a team, with an average of 30 teams a Festival will be able to generate an average of $1.5MM+ for the economy through tourism within our community.  The Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival had more than 25 teams attend in our 4th year and expect the number of teams to continue to increase.

The reasons for this are many: It is a fun sport with active participation, it is seen as an event that involves the whole family, the multicultural aspect of Dragon boating ensures a wider interest than other sporting events, and there is a strong emphasis on fundraising for worthwhile charities. For all these reasons, Dragon Boat Festivals have proven to be one of the true Class A vehicles for corporate exposure available today! The Festival will help raise funds. The current host DRAGON a 501(c)(3) entity continues to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness, Mammograms, and medical assistance just by racing in similar events. Dragon boat racing brings together the entire community for a unique cultural experience that promotes harmony, team spirit, and understanding among people of all ages, diverse ethnicities, and backgrounds.

Every donation is appreciated and helps our 100% volunteer organization to continue to give back to breast cancer survivors and other cancer patients on and off the water for wellness, competition and increased community awareness. 

DragonBoat Racing Association Group of Nevada (DRAGON) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, whose mission is to promote and encourage Dragon boat racing into the mainstream society to enhance social harmony and have community involvement, through the sponsorship of Dragon Boat training, racing, participation programs which also include hosting the Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival.
